Magrada Organic Cosmetics is an Estonian family-run beauty brand founded in 2015 by mother-and-daughter duo Kaire and Lisanna, with deep roots on the island of Hiiumaa — a place of pine forests, crystal-clear sea, and wildflower meadows that gives the brand its source materials and its sensibility. The name itself is a small linguistic detour: "Magrada" is Catalan for "I like," chosen because the founders liked what they had created and wanted to say so without false ceremony. The brand sits firmly within the small but serious world of Northern European natural cosmetics, with the founders openly drawing on family knowledge — Kaire's grandmother was a local apothecary, and the herbal lore in the formulations has been passed down rather than researched from scratch.

Every Magrada product is vegan, cruelty-free, and free of mineral oils, parabens, artificial colourings, and silicones; ingredients are biodegradable and packaging is fully reusable. Formulations are perfected in small lab batches every ten to twelve weeks to keep the products fresh, and built around Nordic botanicals with real local pedigree — juniper, cranberry, lemon balm, calendula, oak, lime blossom — used in regional beauty rituals for centuries. The range covers skincare and haircare, with notable bestsellers including the Rhubarb Hair Mask (winner of Best New Natural Product at the 2021 Pure Beauty Global Awards, from a field of nearly 800 entries across 42 countries) and the Firming Algae Body Cream and Body Serum set. Magrada is also a member of Organic Estonia, the country's organic-producers' association.
