My Mini Maker designs brilliantly engaging craft kits for children who enjoy sticking, painting, building, imagining, and generally creating mild but wholesome chaos. The brand was founded during the pandemic by Nic and Tim, a UK couple who found themselves keeping a toddler entertained alongside a newborn — high-five if that scenario sounds familiar — and discovered both that they couldn't face yet more screen time and that they didn't have the planning bandwidth (or the willingness to deal with the mess) to keep producing crafts from scratch. They were joined by Justyna, an early-years practitioner with twenty-plus years of experience designing developmental activities for young children, who became the brand's ideas engine. The result is a properly considered range of monthly themed kits, each containing four hands-on activities aligned with the EYFS framework, every kit tested on their own four-year-old Alex. The brand won a silver Made for Mums Award in 2023.

Each kit is thoughtfully put together to spark curiosity and give young makers the satisfying thrill of saying "I made that, all by myself, thank you very much." The activities are screen-free, hands-on, wonderfully absorbing, and refreshingly low on plastic — materials are chosen with care, instructions are clear without being bossy, and every project delivers that lovely mix of creativity and calm that keeps children focused and adults quietly relieved. Kits are designed primarily for ages three to seven, with a Project Kit subscription for ages seven to nine for children ready for slightly more ambitious craft. Subscription options run from three to twelve months as gifts, or as monthly rolling boxes; everything ships from London via Royal Mail 48-hour tracked, with everything-included packaging that goes straight from the doorstep to the kitchen table without any of the usual run-around to the craft-supply shop.
